FREE IN-STORE PICKUP

Get ready for a new way to shop your favorite music and pop culture merch. Order from tons of sizes and styles online, then visit your local Hot Topic store the same day to pick up your items. It’s the fastest and most convenient way to get your online orders. Most items will be available at your local HT within 3-4 hours. Be sure to note the time that items will be ready for pickup on their product pages. Pickup orders placed after 4PM may be processed the next business day. Orders not picked up after 7 days will be restocked and refunded. Same day in-store pickup is not available at our Canadian locations.

How to Use Online and Pick Up In-Store

  • 1. Choose the "Store Pickup" option when placing your order, then select your preferred store.
  • 2. We will email you when your order is ready for pickup.
  • 3. Stop by the store, pick up your order and be on your way.
  • 4. Be sure to pick up your order within 7 days, or your order will be refunded and items will be returned to stock.

Payment / Billing

Hot Topic makes payments super easy. We currently accept cards with Visa®, MasterCard®, and American Express® logos, as well as Venmo® and PayPal® and Klarna for online purchases with the Buy Online, Free Pickup In-Store option. You will be charged when the item is marked ready to pick up, or when it ships from our warehouse. You will see individual charges if your items are shipped in different packages or different store pickups.

Returns

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase, and our return policy reflects that. Items can be returned to Hot Topic stores or by mail—just remember to bring/include your receipt. See our full Return/Exchange Policy here.

Order Status

Once you’ve place your order, we’ll let you know when it’s ready with a pickup notification email. When you get to the HT store you selected during checkout, bring the pickup notification email and your ID. Be sure to pick up your order within 7 days, or your order will be refunded and items will be returned to stock.

Q: Is Same Day In-Store Pickup available at Hot Topic stores in Canada?

A: Sorry, this service is not available at our Canadian locations at this time.

Q: Can my order have multiple delivery options?

A: Yes, items within one order can be picked up at different stores, and/or shipped to your home.

Q: How long does it take my order to be processed and ready for pickup?

A: As soon as you place your order, we get to work fulfilling it. Depending on item availability, orders will typically take 3-4 hours to process, and those placed after 4PM may be processed the next business day.

Q: What happens if I don’t pick up my order 7 days after I receive my pickup notification email?

A: If you don’t get a chance to pick up your order within 7 days, your order will be refunded to your original form of payment, and the items will be returned to stock.

Q: If I choose the “Ship It” option, how long will it take to ship?

A: For in-stock items, they will ship to your specified address within 3 business days.

Q: Are all items available for in-store pickup?

A: Most items are available for in-store pickup. Items excluded will be noted on the product page and in checkout.

Q: Can I have someone else pick up my order?

A: As long as they bring a copy of the confirmation email and bring their own personal photo ID, they can pick up your order.

Q: How do I know if an item can be picked up at my Hot Topic store?

A: Thanks to our “Check Availability” feature on the product page, you can see which items are available to be picked up your nearest Hot Topic stores. If pickup is not available at a specific store, it will be noted.
